Clinical Supervision for Florida Registered Interns

Steady mentorship from a clinician with twenty-plus years of practice, teaching, and leadership

Supervision is where the clinician you're becoming gets shaped — through real cases, careful reflection, and a relationship with someone who's done the work and can help you grow into your own voice. I bring that to every supervisee: clinical depth, warm structure, and a genuine investment in your trajectory.

Who I Supervise

I'm a qualified Florida supervisor for:

  • Registered Clinical Social Work Interns (RCSWI) pursuing LCSW licensure
  • Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns (RMHCI) pursuing LMHC licensure
  • Registered Marriage & Family Therapy Interns (RMFTI) pursuing LMFT licensure

If you're earlier in your training — practicum or clinical fellowship — reach out and we'll discuss whether supervision is the right next step for where you are.

Format and Hours

Supervision happens weekly or bi-weekly in fifty-minute meetings. Sessions are available in person at the St. Augustine Beach office or by secure video — both meet Florida's documentation standards.

Each meeting is structured around the cases you're carrying that week: clinical formulation, intervention choices, ethics, countertransference, and the practical questions of building a sustainable practice. I keep careful notes for the supervision log so your hours are clean and ready for the Florida Board.

My Supervision Philosophy

Supervision is most useful when it's grounded in compassion and rigor at the same time. My approach blends psychodynamic depth with practical, evidence-based interventions — the same blend I bring to my clinical work — so you leave each meeting with a clearer formulation and a real next step.

Twenty years of teaching graduate students and clinicians has shaped how I work with supervisees: I notice what's beneath the surface in your work, ask the questions that move things forward, and trust that your judgment is the thing we're sharpening.

Fee

Supervision is offered at a flat per-session rate, billed monthly. The fee covers our scheduled meetings, supervision-log documentation, and reasonable between-session contact for emergent clinical questions. We'll discuss specifics in our first call.

How to Begin

A short call is the easiest first step. We'll talk through where you are in your hours, the kinds of cases you're carrying, and confirm we're aligned on what supervision should be.

Begin the Conversation

A complimentary 15-minute call to talk through your supervision needs and confirm fit.
