You may access your records, request an amendment, receive an accounting of disclosures, request restrictions on how your information is used, receive notice of any breach, and choose how the practice communicates with you.

Website privacy and cookies
This website collects only information you volunteer — for example, through the contact form. Minimal analytics are used to understand how visitors move through the site, alongside advertising measurement tools from Meta and Google.
No information collected through this website is sold to third parties.
Telehealth security
Virtual sessions take place on HIPAA-compliant encrypted platforms such as Jane App. To keep your side of the session secure, please join from a private location, keep your device and software up to date, protect your login credentials, and do not record sessions without written agreement.
Secure storage of records
Clinical records are held locked or encrypted, with access restricted to me. Florida law requires records to be retained for a minimum of five years following the end of treatment.
Business associates
Where information is shared with billing services, practice management software or secure communication platforms, that sharing takes place under a HIPAA business associate agreement requiring the same standard of confidentiality.
Third-party vendors
Jane App (scheduling and telehealth), secure email providers, and professional liability insurers receive limited information under contractual HIPAA compliance requirements.
Data breaches
In the event of a breach affecting your information, you will be notified with the date of the incident, the information affected, the steps taken to investigate it, the measures taken to protect you, and what happens next.
Changes to this policy
Material updates to this policy trigger client notification. Continued use of services after notification indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
Your responsibilities
Please keep your contact information current, report any compromise of your privacy promptly, use secure passwords for telehealth and portal access, verify the accuracy of your records, and raise concerns as soon as they arise.
